What is broadband?
Broadband access, or ADSL, is a way of connecting to the internet digitally, allowing for a much faster connection. You don't need to worry about cut off times or maximum usage as broadband is always connected, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As a business customer, you can choose to have download speeds of up to 2000k (2 meg) per second. When you compare that to a fast modem which is only 56k per second, you can see the difference.

The only equipment you will need to buy is a broadband capable modem, which will available from all good PC retailers.

The only obstacle you may come up against is that broadband is not yet available in every area. To find out if it's available in yours, have a look at our availability checker. If you can't get broadband but still need those fast download speeds, you could consider Satellite

Like the 0800 service, you do not pay for the time you spend online, but instead pay a fixed monthly fee.
